Lumière is a small studio focused on one thing: the hour after the overhead light goes off.
We don't make every lamp. We choose, refine, and sometimes commission the ones that change how a room feels at night — and we leave the rest alone.
A point of view
Overhead lighting is a productivity tool. The lamps we care about are the ones that take over when the day is finished — calmer light, lower light, light at the height of a person rather than a ceiling.
How we choose
Every piece is selected against the same test: would we live with it ourselves, in our own apartments, for years? Pieces that don't pass that test don't enter the collection.
