Lumière · Japandi Edit
Japandi table lamps for rooms that breathe.
Stone, paper-soft glass and unfussy silhouettes. The Japandi pieces share a single instinct — fewer marks on the room, more atmosphere from the light.
The Selection
0 PiecesWhat Japandi actually means in lighting
Japandi pulls Japanese restraint — natural materials, quiet proportions, intentional empty space — together with Scandinavian warmth — soft warm light, cosy textures, a calm palette. In a lamp, that reads as a low body, an unbroken silhouette, and light that lives in the body rather than spilling everywhere.
Materials that fit
Stone, ceramic, oak, paper-feel glass. Avoid chrome, exposed bulbs, and anything that asks for attention. Japandi works on subtraction, not addition.
Placement
One lamp per surface. Leave space around it. A Japandi lamp is most itself when the eye can rest on it without competition from styling clutter.
